conundrum.
a while back,
i was in a public restroom
when i noticed the diaper changing table.
it had instructions written on it in english
and in braille.
at first i thought,
wow, that's really considerate!
and then i thought
...man, it must really suck to be blind and changing a diaper.

please hurry.
i await the prescriptions
in the drugstore
that I can only think to describe as
hickish.
I am surrounded by fish decor
and greeting cards
featuring babies wearing cowboy hats
and bare bums
while the country radio station warbles,
the singer offering to be
my redneck romeo.
I sure wish the technician would hurry up.

solitude and deluge.
today is one of those days
that i wish it was
raining
so that i could hear its cadence on the windows,
watch its ripples on the pavement,
whilst curled up under a blanket
in my warm house
as i listen
to sad music.
lots of sighs.

music video monday 5 = black or white/michael jackson
in honor of the oft-overlooked holiday. :]
i sure love me some michael jackson...
today i shall celebrate civil rights day
by wearing black and white
watching remember the titans (or a similar film)
and eating oreos.

thank you, dear kidneys.
i have been trying to drink more water lately.
i hate drinking water.
i think it's gross.
especially when i have other nectars beckoning to me...
namely SPRITE
and ROOT BEER
and other syrupy carbonated delights.
but i want to be healthier.
so i drink water.
kind of.
i drink water with those little crystal light packets mixed in.
it's been working out pretty well so far.
it's like
adult kool-aid.
and i love kool-aid.
the problem with drinking this adult kool-aid
is that it makes it so that i'm rushing to the bathroom
all the time.
but it's neat being well-hydrated
because it makes your pee less yellow.
so after four bottles of adult kool-aid,
my pee is practically clear!
it's like ghost pee.
and i am oft tempted to not flush when i'm done,
just because no one can detect
the ghost pee.

random side note:
i love kool-aid,
but i HATE tang.
satan made tang.
and satan is a jerk.

fact:
sleep deprivation
leads you to believe
that you are funnier
than you really are.

sense of humor.
GOD
made me reasonably intelligent.
. . .
but he didn't give me any prudence.
i think it's so i can make Him laugh...

if wishes were fishes...
i wish that . . .
breasts were detachable.
life would be so much more comfortable...

日本への愛.
i spent three months of my life living and teaching in japan.
they were the shortest three months of my life.
but they were also the best three months of my life.
please...
do whatever you possibly can to help that beautiful country in their tremendous time of need.
donate...
volunteer...
pray...
ANYTHING.
help the sun rise again
upon the land of the rising sun.
日本さん,
my prayers are with you.
my prayers are with you.

now paging . . .
if my last name was
LOVE . . .
i would become a doctor.
. . .
because then, people could call me
DR. LOVE
and it wouldn't even be a joke.

self-expression.
i've never been very good at expressing myself.
especially with words.
which is why the name of my blog is
a little misleading.
it should be named
the inarticulate babbler.
but as you can see,
i didn't name it that.
. . .
it is my hope to become a little more artistic and expressive.
to be an eloquent orator is a goal of mine.
this blog's purpose is to fulfill that goal.
plus it sounds really cool...

here we go again.
i've never been very good at this blogging business.
i follow "professional" blogs.
a lot of my friends have blogs.
but i don't have one of my own.
because i have the hardest time keeping it updated.
but i have come to believe that blogging is a lovely form of self-expression.
one that i would love to try out again.
so...
hello again, blogdom.
